Fight Gay Marriage

The Massachusetts Supreme Court has ruled that a ban on homosexual marriage is unconstitutional. Funny- these courts rule that marriage is no longer sacred, but God is to be banned from every aspect of public life. Clearly, the courts in this country are in complete opposition to what most Americans believe is right. George Washington probably just fainted in heaven, when he heard this ruling. Why can homosexuals just live their lives and not fight to be equal? They are, by definition, abnormal. They live, in their own words, an "alternative lifestyle." Americans do not support gay marriage. Marriage is supposed to be a sacred union between man and woman...it's been that way for thousands of years. The homosexual groups should stop this assault on tradition. They should stop trying to stick their unwanted noses into everything sacred in this world. We simply must TOLERATE these people who choose to live lifestyles that are in direct opposition to nature and what is clearly the norm. We have no obligation to accept them and their lifestyle, nor do we need to be forced into embracing them and their chosen ways.

Decisions like this will have a horrifying effect on this country and on marriage itself. I urge everyone to send letters to your elected representatives about this issue...tell them you support the Constitutional Amendment that says marriage is between one MAN and one WOMAN. We cannot let homosexuals force their way into every institution and ruin what we have held sacred for millenia.

Just ran into this message...keep it up. Gay marriage is an abomination, and we need to show our opposition however we can!

I'd like to say. . . that, in light of the various arguments that have been supported using christianity ( slavery, opposition to interracial marriage *Loving v. Virgnia 1967* ) that, you must truly be an idiot to indicate faith as the sole reason for opposition to gay marraige. Separation of Church and State indicates that no law shall effect religion, and no religion shall effect law. Who are you to trumpet christianity above all other faiths, and say that christianity is the rule by how everybody should live? I think, perhaps, if you feel that way, you should hop in your time machine, set it back a couple of centuries, and pop back into England.

Define normal. What society approves of? Well, in 1967 90% of society opposed interracial marriages. . . today, they're perfectly accepted ( except by the few biggots. . . ) Being black is abnormal, so is being old, or young, so is being korean, or. . . according in Kinsey, strictly heterosexual.

I don't care how you define marriage, it isn't a question of if. . . it's a question of when -- and the answer is. . . much sooner than you would EVER possibly imagine.

I, for one, am not a christian, but i still opposr gay marrige, as it is unnatural and the constituion did say a bond between one man and one woman. and for christians, their story is adam and eve, not adam and steve, so it is against the religeon of christians, but i find it wrong even though im not a christian. overall, if people want to be gay, i could care less, just dont shove your damn gay culture and other garbage all all the hetrosexuals.

Ask yourself this question... What is the core argument for homosexual marriage? If a man really loves a man why shouldn't he be able to marry him? Right? Well here is the huge problem of responding yes to that question. The word love is so ambiguous that once we use love to qualify the right to marry we open the “right to marry” argument to all the other harmful things that we have current laws to protect society from. If love is our qualifier then why not allow a father to marry his daughter if her really “loves” her, or why not allow one man to marry ten women if her really “loves” them all. As a Christian it bothers me that my fellow brothers and sisters only know the “God says it’s wrong.” Argument and I would like us to educate ourselves on secularly based arguments against homosexual marriage as well as the Biblically based arguments.
