Weekend

My weekend was boring...nobody to do anything with, so I was home all weekend. I was going to get together with someone, but that fell thru. I watched Hack Saturday night, and damn David Morse and Andre Baugher are cool as hell...I want to go to Philadelphia...don't ask me what's there- but the series takes place there and is also filmed there. A quick note about Hack- if you check the ratings, it never makes the top 25...usually sits somewhere near 50-60, and sometimes even lower. That's not so bad, because we're talking about ratings for all shows for the entire week, and there is some tough competition out there. Anyhow, Hack was given the second season go ahead (it's in second season now), but it was only given the greelight for 13 eps. with the additional 9 if it performs well. It did a lot better last year when it was brand new, but it's not doing SO bad now.

I'm going to call the ticket office of this place this morning to see if they have Rockapella tickets left and if they have an option other than charge by phone to get them...their concert is on Saturday, Oct. 25th.

I'm gonna go see Texas Chainsaw Masscare today at 12:30...that's the first showing, so hopefully I can have the auditorium to myself. I'll admit when I went to see Wrong Turn at the theatre, the beginning had me a bit scared...I'm sitting there all alone, and these people are getting killed...and it was loud as hell. So, call me a wuss.

More cool music:
Mike and the Mechanics- The Living Years
Mike and the Mechanics- Over My Shoulder
Mike and the Mechanics- All I Need is a Miracle
John Mayer- Bigger than My Body
Black Eyed Peas- Shut Up

and finally- the song that is in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre commercials, and also playing in the background of the official movie site- it's called Song of the Siren by This Mortal Coil, and if you ask me- it's creepy sounding...probably because I now associate it with the scary trailer for the movie, but maybe not- it's haunting.
