I have been watching So Graham Norton for the past few nights, and I will probably try to catch it everynight. It's funny, because it's been on a million times on BBC America, and I have seen bits of it many times, but I have never really watched it. I have seen Graham on 2 episodes of Father Ted, and he's hilarious.
His show is pretty funny itself. It's a talk show format, sort of like late night talk shows here in the U.S.- but no big monologue and only one guest per show. Graham is totally gay- and he makes jokes about it all the time...the other night he was doing a biker scene where he was riding in the desert (via green screen behind him), and he talked about how he'd have to settle for Eric Clapton's cream. Point is- he's flaming, and that's just hilarious...plus, he's really good at what he does, so that doesn't hurt.
Anyhow, he had Sophia Loren on his show tonight...and Dennis Hopper on the other night.
I kept it on BBC America and the drama, The Vice came on...and, weird thing- first time I've seen nudity outside of a medical show on anything but premium television. I never knew they showed nudity on BBC America, I've sure never seen it before, but it was indeed odd seeing bare breasts in the strip club scene that started out the episode.
In December, a new season of Murder In Mind starts...a really good show about...well, about murder. I've seen 3 or 4 episodes of that show, and I like it a lot.
I also want to make sure I catch this series called My Hero that airs on BBC America...since it stars the guy who played Dougal on Father Ted.
I'm going to see The Texas Chainsaw Massacre tomorrow, I guess...and I want to see Scary Movie 3 when it comes out the 24th. That movie looks hilarious- the scene in the previews where the guy with the voice box comes up to Leslie Nielsen and Ja Rule makes me laugh everytime I see it.
I want to see Rockapella in concert on Oct. 25th, tickets are $26...but, it's this arts center's 10th year gala celebration, and I'm not sure if tickets will still be available, and if I will even have the money to go...It's in Henderson, KY, which is like 10 minutes away, so I don't want to miss the opportunity to see them.
There is some movie about the theatre terrorist attack in Russia (the one that was in the news months and months ago)...on HBO. I need to find out when it airs...I saw it in The Week Magazine earlier today.
Check this out about haunted places in America...really, just hotels mainly, and basically an ad for expedia.com services. But, there are some other things on there too. Pretty cool.
Anyone see any good photos of Mary Carey, the porn star who was running for governor of California? She's actually really pretty. I saw a picture of her in The Week, and she's not too shabby.
