Funny. It says on the screen that Cruz Bustamante is giving his concession speech, yet- he hasn't said one word about the recall election. He just keeps going on and on about prop. 54, whatever the hell that is. I'm guessing it's about Indian gaming, since he got obscene amounts of money from them (which makes him corrupt), and he keeps talking about being color blind.
Is this guy a joke or what?
He gets tons of money from indian casinos...so much, that I think he was ordered by the courts to give much of it back...then, instead of conceding the election, he drones on about this proposition that saved his cronies that gave him all his money. Great spin, Cruz! You officially made an ass of yourself AGAIN.
That just had to be the funniest "concession" speech I've ever seen. Politics as usual.
Cruz- I need to tell you a secret, since you clearly don't realize it. YOU LOST.
On the same issue- did you hear the reports that democrats will give Arnold 100 days and then start their own recall? I wouldn't be surprised, since democrats in general usually show their lack of concern for the people, usually concentrating on themselves. Let's be honest- it's a fact for the most part...remember Bill Clinton? The man probably has an alter to himself.
Anyhow- I hope the dems DO just that...if they do, there would be a good chance that California would make a big swing and go Republican for the presidential election. Democrats, if they do this, will ruin all their chances in California for years to come.

- Prop 54 has absolutely nothing to do with Indian gaming. As I've said before, if you actually bothered to learn about the subjects you rant about you wouldn't make embarrasing mistakes like this. I don't mind correcting you, however.
Posted by: lowdown at October 9, 2003 12:28 AMlol. thanks, but i made it clear i dont know what proposition 54 is in regards to. the fact that he took tons of money from indian casinos shows his character in general...so, good try, but you cant correct me since i never said it had to do with indian gaming. my guess was it has something to do with 'indians' since he mentioned prop 54 and talked about how the tribes were happy with the result.
as ive said before, youre nuts! wait. maybe i havent said that before. but im saying it now.
Posted by: Josh Bozeman at October 9, 2003 01:12 AM"cant correct me since i never said it had to do with indian gaming"
- The what did you mean when you said this:
"he drones on about this proposition that saved his cronies that gave him all his money."
- That statement certainly implies that his speech had something to with indian gaming, doesn't it?
"but i made it clear i dont know what proposition 54 is in regards to"
- Yes, earlier you had said that you didn't know "whatever the hell" proposition 54 was, and then you said this (I'll quote you again):
"he drones on about this proposition that saved his cronies that gave him all his money."
- All that proves is that you're incapable of carrying any sort of dialogue without contradicting yourself. I realized this a long time ago, so I didn't make a big deal about it. The fact remains that the above quotation is 100% FALSE and that's why I corrected you.
"my guess was it has something to do with 'indians' since he mentioned prop 54 and talked about how the tribes were happy with the result."
- That's simply not true. You did not guess that it had "something to do with indians". You explicitly said it had to do with prop 54. Here, once again, is the quote that confirms this:
"he drones on about this proposition that saved his cronies that gave him all his money."
- You guessed wrong and you've been corrected.
"as ive said before, youre nuts! wait. maybe i havent said that before. but im saying it now."
- You say I'm nuts (or some variation of "nuts") everytime I correct your factual errors. Needless to say, you say it quite often.

When I said this:
"You explicitly said it had to do with prop 54"
I meant to say this:
"You explicitly said it had to do with Indian gaming."
youre a bored guy, arent you? i made a GUESS as to what the proposition was about. like i said, i dont know what the hell its about...my guess was indian gaming or something close to that, since he talked about the tribes being happy with the decision, then went on and named a bunch of native american people he worked with.
i never explicitly said it had to do with indian gaming. i made it clear to begin with that i wasnt sure and that was my impression from his speech. its called context, its not rocket science.
anyhow...whats your point? as i originally said, i DONT KNOW what its about, but im making a GUESS as to what i THINK it could be about from what he said in his speech.
you have way too much time on your hands to go and on and try to turn one of my "guesses" into a "lie."
Posted by: Josh Bozeman at October 9, 2003 11:24 AM"i made a GUESS as to what the proposition was about. like i said, i dont know what the hell its about...my guess was indian gaming or something close to that"
- As I've already acknowledged, I know you were guessing, and you were wrong so I corrected your GUESS. Why don't you try reading my posts before you attempt to refute them?
"i never explicitly said it had to do with indian gaming"
- But you already admitted that that was your GUESS, so what does it matter if you explicitly said it or not? I've already proved (with the same quote 3 times) that it was implied. Moving right along...
"i made it clear to begin with that i wasnt sure and that was my impression from his speech."
- Yes I know. You say you weren't "clear" about what the man was talking about, yet you obviously felt confident enough to call him an "ass" for a (incorrect) GUESS of yours. Strange, but not entirely uncharacteristic of you.
"anyhow...whats your point? as i originally said, i DONT KNOW what its about, but im making a GUESS as to what i THINK it could be about from what he said in his speech"
- I have no point. I just corrected your guess. Are you sure you're reading my posts?
"you have way too much time on your hands to go and on and try to turn one of my "guesses" into a "lie."
- Josh, I'm worried. You're hearing things again. Are you off your medication? Go through my posts (there are only two of them) and find one instance where I either said or implied that you "lied". Than contact a medical professional ASAP.
Posted by: lowdown at October 9, 2003 03:02 PMyoure a scary guy. you post a number of times to try to correct an assumption i made...insulting me in the process, telling me i need to learn what im talking about before i rant about it. its silly. get a hobby!
you clearly implied that i lied, since youre so proud of yourself for "correcting" me, and claiming that i never have my facts straight.
i was speaking about bustamante in general. he used to be part of a radical racist group in college, but refused to denounce that group when he was called on it. he took so much money from indian casinos that he was ordered to give some of it back. many in the state say what he did with the money, taking it at all, was unethical. i agree that it is. hes looking out for himself and screw the voters/people of california. so i didnt call him an ass for a false assumption. i called him an ass for turning a concession speech into a victory speech, especially when hes clearly corrupt.
btw. you make yourself sound really stupid when you start talking about people taking meds. just some advice for future reference.
Posted by: Josh Bozeman at October 9, 2003 03:36 PM"its silly. get a hobby!"
- You are my hobby. If I'm bored at work, I take a look at your site correct whatever falsehoods I find in your arguments. You're like a verbal punching bag. And the fact that you can't admit to a simple mistake makes it easy for me to screw with you.
"you clearly implied that i lied,"
- I've already given you a chance to support that claim and you haven't been able to. Wanna try again?
"called him an ass for turning a concession speech into a victory speech, especially when hes clearly corrupt."
- I think most people would have assumed that your point about Cruz droning on about a prop that allegedly saved his "cronies" and made him all his money would have had something to do with you calling him an ass since it came RIGHT BEFORE you called him an one. If you say otherwise I believe you, but it was still a logical assumption.
"btw. you make yourself sound really stupid when you start talking about people taking meds. just some advice for future reference."
- Thanks for the advice, I'm afraid I don't think highly enough of you to take it too seriously though. I don't mean to offend you, it's just me being honest.
The fact remains that Prop 54 has nothing to do with Indian Gaming. If I were you I would make the correction on your main page. You don't want to look like some kind of un-informed right wing zealot, do you?
