Recall on Hold (not for long)

The most liberal court in the land has delayed the California recall. It was scheduled for October 7, but could be delayed till March 2004. The ACLU, the so called protectors of civil liberties (who are in reality a branch of the democratic party) filed sued, claiming that minorities were at a disadvantage due to the voting machines in some of the areas. Translation- the left wing ACLU wants to make sure that their democratic star, Gray Davis, stays in office...so, they file suit claiming this voting machine stuff to delay- hoping people will forget that Davis is a liar and a cheat.

It won't be long before the US Supreme Cout overturns the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which made the ruling today...considering that this 3 judge court is the most overturned court in the entire nation. It's the same court that banned the pledge of allegiance for a bit there last year, due to a suit filed by atheist and liar (he claimed his daughter was atheist, when she's really a devout Christian) Michael Newdow...

It's a sad day when liberal courts have their say and the majority of Americans who disagree with their opinion are discounted.

From what I've been seeing today, this helps Davis, and it helps the racist, Bustamante (he refuses to denounce his membership in a racist hispanic group when he was in college), and hurts Arnold. It might help state senator McClintock (not sure of the spelling, will need to check) tho, which is good for moral conservatives and fiscal conservatives alike. We'll see what happens in the next few days...

Elsewhere...isn't it a bit odd that hurricane Isabella is bigger on the map than...oh CUBA! Are hurricanes normally this size? Because, I realize Cuba isn't huge, but you have to wonder when a storm is the size of an entire island nation!
