Two idiots screamed nonsense at Donald Rumsfeld yesterday as he spoke at the National Press Club luncheon. (full transcript here) This is what the genius thinkers said:
Heckler: Mr. Rumsfeld, you're fired! Your foreign policy is based on lies. The war in Iraq is unjust and illegal, and the occupation is immoral. There are U.S. soldiers dying in Iraq --
Heckler: Go home!
Heckler: -- every day! Still dying! Bring the troops home now.
Heckler: Tell us when the troops are coming home!
Hecklers: (Chanting.) Hey, Rumsfeld, what do you say? -- How many troops did you kill today?! Hey, Rumsfeld, what do you say? -- How many troops did you kill today?! Hey, Rumsfeld, what do you say? -- How many troops did you kill today?! (Hecklers escorted out of room.)
Well, first off- they're idiots, claiming that every day troops are dying. That's not the case at all. Not to mention- less than 200 soldiers have died in Iraq. How many died in Vietnam? 46, 000? Something like that...
The troops have been in Iraq how long? Less than 9 months...how long do these idiots think it should take? I'd also like to know what lies Rumsfeld has told.
Funny how some people can be so clueless and have so little respect for someone addressing a room of press members. Protesting like this, when you don't have any of your facts straight is moronic...and this is clearly not the place to protest to begin with. If I posted dumbass of the month still (I haven't for a while), these ladies would win the prize. It's always nice to see people prove themselves jackasses to the world.
More news on hecklers, this time at the democratic debate...but, if you listened to the 9 dems on stage, you might be hard pressed to pick out the real idiots.
